Default Fire Downtown

This fire has been burning for at least an hour. I heard it was the Park Place apartments. But it just flared up again, anyone know if it spread to another building?
I'm watching it out the window at work (10th floor)

My wife heard it was an old-folks home. Pioneer Home or something to that effect. If that's the case, I hope anyone home at the time was able to effectively evacuate. Well, that holds true for ANYONE, but in particular to elderly that may not be able to on their own.

Here's to everyone coming out with their health if not their home.

I work over at Wells Fargo in the 5th Ave Mall, and passed by it on the way in. It's apparently a 4-story condo building burst into flames and destroyed the top floors.. It covered everywhere from 15> Aves in smoke for a few hours since it was REALLY bad, they didn't have the fire under control until at least 9 or so PM. I saw the top floor around 5pm-ish completely engulfed in flames as I drove by. It was pretty sad, especially since the 40+MPH wind wasn't helping...

These are the pictures I got from my window:

(the smoke that covered the road, that caused about seven fender benders that I counted hearing)

The Drive Home:: (I was one of the last bit of traffic to get out before they shut down downtown, they were blocking the roads off to enter as I left)

(There were ALOT of people walking around. I saw a tourist trolly almost get hit by an ambulance... quite exciting stuff)

(This is the picture I got of I Street... atleast I think it's I that comes off of L)

You can see that little white part of a building coming up from trees on the right side is the building that caught fire.

When you drive farther past the trees that are blocking it I could see where the roof had caved in and all the black smut on the building.

The smoke was really bad coming over my work building, we had to close all the windows and I've been coughing non-stop.

I can only imagine what it was to be fighting the fire or trying to evade it.
