Free to good home: MTB bike

Aluminum schwinn.
I got it for my 19th birthday which makes it 11 years old
it was decent bike at the time I think it was about 650$ new.
The tires prob need new tubes and the chain looks a bit rusty, Im sure it could use an adjustment for the shifter. It is in very good condition otherwise. I think a bike shop would put it in good working order for 40$ or so. I believe the frame is 18" so it should be good for people around 5'9 to 5'11 or so.

I will give it to goodwill if nobody comes for it in a few days. I am in the houston galeria area...

Steve (aliben) in my neighbor and most certainly a good guy. I am sure his coworker deserving. Dont worry I shall post again in 11 years when I am sick of my bought yesterday bike..

That's all good, just my opinion /shrug... I don't expect any of you to care. I'll just be sure not to post anything for free, personally... If someone's giving something away I just prefer to see someone who's actually going to use it offer to take it...

No big deal all. Everybody is entitled to an opinion. Steve is a friend of mine and I would have given him priority over sombody I dont know anyway. I wasnt sure anybody would want it to to tell the truth. It is a decent bike but will prob need a bit of work to function properly. Steve remind said Hotblond of my "generosity" if she ever breaks it off will billybobjoe jr
