Default Will Disconnecting My Postive Battery Terminal Wipe Out My Stage 2 Map?

I just wanted to know if Disconnecting My Postive Battery Terminal to clean it will that reset the ecu and force me to reflash the car when I attach it agian? I have the accessprt with the stage 2 93 map.

what about when using ecuflash? it is a reflash so it should be burned on the chip and not just a real-time map.

It does clear the ECU, but only part of it. It will clear the realtime map, but not the basemap. You do not need to go through the long flash process again.

If that map you had on there is not the basemap, you will need to use your Accessport to put it back on (assuming you saved it onto the port). It's very simple. With the ignition 'On' (motor can be running or not, you can even techinically even be driving...(insert not safe/car accident/get off you accessport and drive comment here)), plug the AP into the car. IIRC, you go to 'change realtime map' and select the one you want. Wait ~ 30 secs while it does it's thang and vioala. Unplug the AP and enjoy.
