Just blew up my EJ20, that Legacy block is my #1 replacement choice as it sits. This is the one with the 8500rpm recommended redline, correct? Are the internal dimensions similar to JDM STI 2.0 motors (trying to figure possible compression ratios)?

Sorry to hear about your engine. The internal dimensions are pretty much the same as the EJ207. Your compression should be ~8.4:1 if you are using the factory gasket and your factory heads. This engine is superior to the EJ207 engine as it employs stronger rods, L19 rod bolts, and lighter pistons, but we recommend a 8200rpm redline for these engines (although lots of people run it to 8500). Consider shimming or upgrading your oil pump for high rpm operation.

Cheers,

Gary

Hi,

EJ207 sold!

The LR piston clearances are same as stock, the alloy I am not sure, it shouldn't be different than the standard Wiseco forged pistons.

Thanks,

Gary
