Default FS: FP 18G $450 Shipped *PICS*

NEW PRICE $400 SHIPPED OR $300 PICKED UP

Check out Post #9 for updated info I got from Deadbolt!

I have up for sale a used Forced Performance TD05 18G that is water and oil cooled. I bought this turbo used thinking I was going to do an external wastegate setup with it, but I have decided to go a different route. The previous owner had the housing rotated and the wastegate actuator relocated to accomodate his intercooler setup, as seen in the pics.

The turbo has 19k miles on it without any shaft play and spins real nice. To get it onto a WRX or STi, you have two options:

Get a welder to cut the flange that was welded on and rotate the housing back to normal and relocate the actuator back to its original position

Or, go with an external wastegate setup and forget about having to relocate the actuator, but you would still need to rotate the housing, unless you want to do a custom intercooler setup.

Alright, enough reading, on with the pics.

Sorry about the crappy pics, but that is what a crappy camera will get you.

Thanks

Lowering the price for a quicker sell, hopefully.

Alright, I got some great news from Deadbolt today. I asked them how much it would cost to revert the turbo back to its original position, and here is what I was told:

Thanks for your email!

We can probably modify the housing you have cheaper than replacing it. We should be able to rotate the housing back to normal and install wastegate actuator legs for $75.00. The cost of a new 18G compressor housing is $189.00 with the correct wastegate actuator legs for a WRX fit.

Let me know if we can assist you with anything or if we can answer any questions!

*edit*
I want to take a look at this thing in person. Thats an IHI exh housing. I want to see what the heck this thing is all about. Its obviously an 18G cold side, but thats not a mitsu hot side.

I am working at Autozone from 9-12 at anderson mill/183 tomorrow (driving part time so that I have SOME money coming in while I deal with getting the business up and running )
Otherwise, bring it to tuesdays HH at woodrows?

Do me a favor, look in the inlet on the exh side and see if you see a P18 or P20 stamped inside the tube. Im betting its a P20 off a Vf22.
