Nice to meet you JDM. I got a good price on the parts we were discussing, so, never mind on that. I will look for that plastic piece and let you know.

The raffle came late and I'm glad I stayed. Motul oil package, CAI, two HAWK hats and other goodies...

NP...thanks.

Cool. Maybe they should have raffles throughout the day. Makes people stay longer.

Yes. RE960 AS pole positions. Very pricey but well worth it!

I love Bridgestone tires. I have the RE01R's on my 18x8 Black OZ's.

Another update. This Saturday I finally broke down my STi engine and decide I will rebuilt my engine with some Wiseco/eagle stuff maybe mild porting around valves and once I’m done I will switch that with my current working engine on my FXT. So far I discovered there is possible valve damage since they hit slightly my piston when I crashed but since I will completely rebuilt my engine I will get new anyway. It will be great I can wait to jump on it. As far for my forester I will make my built in 3 phases. First 2 in next couple weeks... I hope:-)

Phase 1: will be Turbo, 3” APS Exhaust, STi Up-Pipe, Sti Intake, TGV Deletes, Modified fuel rails with APS 3” inlet pipe, DW740cc injectors, Cusco FR Strut Bar, APS TMIC and APS 65mm CAI and Tune @ Epic

Phase 2: FR STi control arms, RR STi Trail Links, WL Adj, Lateral links, FR/RR WL 27mm Sway Bars, KB endlinks, WRX Struts w/ koni inserts, PDE FR Camber Plates

Phase 3: Engine

i just spent an hour looking at foresters in this thread. i have one question i have a 01 forester and i would like to know what springs you guys are using to lower the forester. i had a 03 impreza and that was easy. but im having problems finding springs for the forester. buy the way every forester in here looks killer

It depends on how low you want it, some people are using Swift spring for aftermarket or sti take offs. I went with jdm forester sti springs which give a drop of I think 7/8" and the ride quality is amazing, not choppy at all and very responsive.

See before I lowered mine I was looking into more of he background on the forester and everything doing with suspension is the same as a impreza. I took my springs off a 03 bugeye, I am looking into a set of sti or wrx springs, shocks, and struts. The abuse my struts have taken due to just having springs is really bad. But i did only spend 50$ on the springs, ride quality is about the same, it handles alot better due to less body roll. So if I was you I would look around find someone with a wrx or even sti that is upgrading and see if you can get a good deal. Or just goto a auto parts store and buy everything new. Just my 2 cents good luck

Apologies if you posted this earlier in the thread, but do you mind me asking where you purchased those JDM springs from?

Thanks in advance! Best wishes

I got mine from here
http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/shop/p...idCategory=116

but it looks like they've marked them up a bit, also found them here
http://shop.edoperformance.com/sti-p...er-p-7160.html

I would recommend these springs to anyone with a forester, this is my wife's subaru and even she loves the ride, but I do have a bit of a saggy butt issue with them so i'll be ordering a pair of spacers soon. Slammed foresters are nice but so is ground clearance, coilovers are right at home on my impreza but thats not what I wanted on the forester.
