Cool, I'll check into towing capacity. I am just pondering whether I could tow my Miata (2000lbs) on an aluminum tire with some parts etc to the track.

The manual for our 00 LGT says you can tow 2000lbs if your trailer has its own brakes, 1000lbs if it doesn't. But that's just what the factory says.

your forester would pull that thing with ease.. my boat weighs about 2500 lbs all said and done and she doesnt even blink while towning it.. not even pulling it up the ramp out of the water.. it even still picks up nicely on the highway haha (had it alittle over 100 for alittle to test it out ) as long as there isnt to much weight on the tounge your set. (whish they made a 2in. reciever for it )

I pulled the trigger a couple of months ago and imported it from Japan! I've been eyeing it up for about a year now.

If you're not familiar with his vehicle, then why are you making such an assumption?

Finally car is leveled. I want to thank you Stephen from Dark Performance. http://darkperformance.com/ for getting back to me so quickly and helping me with my little problem.

04 STi struts with PDE front camber plates (they lift front little bit too) and Dark Performance 1" lift spacers.

What material are those 1" thick spacers? Aluminum or Plastic?

Are the holes threaded or just clearanced for the M8 bolts? I wonder if the threads will hold up to the stress, strain, and loading on the material over time..

If they are HDPE (Plastic), I sure hope they have done significant testing with them and hope you're not the guinea pig.

Yes they are plastic (HDPE) and I chose those over aluminum. Yes they are threaded otherwise as you know that top hat will not hold up together like I have on my picture. Bolts are nice high grade stainless steal. As far for holding up, well Iím not sure what you mean but HDPE is pretty strong material and in this thickness is virtually indestructible and on top of that they are sandwiched between top hat and strut tower so I canít imagine a force to destroy these spacers. Also this is my DD not a rally car neither track car and if I ever use this as a track car it will be only in case of rain so I think for my purpose they are good enough. I donít thing Iím guinea pig I found these guys on dirty impreza forum among the others and chose them only bc they respond to me instantly. However I will keep my eye open and inspect them periodically and since I work part time for performance subie shop I have my car on the lift almost every weekend :-)
