Default wtb/wtt rs 16's? 98-01 rs wheels!

The silver.. or gold 5 or 6 spoke 16x7 + 53 offest impreza RS 98-01 rims are what i'm interested in..

No 16" wrx rims please... they won't clear the 4 pots.

I'm running stock 06 rims right now with a year of (about 16k) of dd use.. and long distance. They have some bits of scratches/rash, and one small dent in the inner rim of one(but holds air just fine. but are in decent shape.(can be improved of course) tires i have are asx 215/45 17 and have 5ish/32's of tread. differs slightly front to rear but the fronts will be getting more even soon

if you have any lying around i'd be interested in your offers, the gold ones may look best though or maybe i'll just have to duplicolor/paint some silver ones

98-01 RS wheels were 16x6.5.

cept... they're not 6.5..... they are 7 in....

"Subaru uses a standard 5 x 100mm bolt pattern on every Impreza and Legacy, making wheel swaps easy between models. Subaru needed to specify a high 53mm offset to fill the wheel wells with 16-inch diameter, 7-inch wide rims. Early 5-spoke designs, as found on '98 and '99 model years weigh in at 17 pounds, while later 6-spoke designs weigh in half a pound less, at 16.5 pounds. "

and RS wheel owners i did the math with the miata tire size calculator

changing to my wheel with 215/45/17 from your 215/50/16 is only a .6% difference in speed (you'd be .6% slower than the spedo reads. so very little diff.)

I have a set from the 01 RS. No tires. They're silver, though. You'll have to get them painted or powdercoated. I am not remembering those wheels ever being gold here in the States, though.
PM me if you want em. I'll let em go cheap.

All I know is that they are a half inch wider than WRX wheels. 6.5 or 7, whatever. Dumbass OP thought they were 17" wheels.

Go back to MAIC.
