I just talked to the dudes at SPO on Friday, after I ordered my suspension/brake mods. And remembered reading on their site about a turbo project they were working on.
Well anyway just wanted to say that the service department is awesome and the guys there are really great. The only thing I didn't like too much was the fact that when I clicked "submit" on the website that it didn't show me how much it would cost for the shipping method I chose or any method at that. Hense the reason I was on the phone with them. But back to the turbo, I guess their test car right now is the impreza (of course). So what does this mean for the Legacy owners? Are we getting shafted again? Well he did say that they're hoping to have a Legacy around when they get to the finishing stages of the kit, maybe their wagon? That everything should work, the only concern he had was the actual physical location of everything in engine bay of Legacy compared to the Impreza. For people with the auto's, since it's kind of hard to find our cars in a M/T, he did say that the 4EAT is more durable then the Manual. He also said, this is all supposed to go down early Feb of next year. I know this isn't really ALL that informative, and that most of you guys out there prefer N/A engines, especially with the wonderful rep the Phase I engines have. But I thought I would atleast share what I found out. ![]() Peace out for the nine-nine
