Stolen truck... need your eyes!

Hey everyone... a young lady at our office sent this to me this morning and I want to ask everyone to keep your eyes open for this.

This is the second vehicle in Eagle River that I know has been stolen out of a driveway in the last month so remember to keep your cars locked up.

Matt’s dark grey 2005 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab was stolen from our driveway in Eagle River Friday night/Saturday morning (6/8/07) sometime between 10pm and 6am. Since this picture was taken we have added a black pipe rack (though the pipe rack and the truck box may have been removed by now). When it was taken it had two white PVC tubes on top of the pipe rack and was crammed full of plumbing tools. It has a small dent on the right front wheel well and a crumpled spot right below the handle of the tailgate.

License plate is EVR512. Please keep an eye out for it as you drive around and if you see it call the police right away. They are already looking for it. Also, if you know of someone else who might help keep watch please forward this email. It might not help at all but it can’t hurt, right?

Will keep an eye out but I can pretty much bet the cops ain't looking for it. They have better things to do like write "no front plate" tickets.

my buddies integra got jacked in fireweed parking lot, along with some other vehicles Friday night. Someone called the police and the po po caught 4 of them in the parking lot. bastards. Sorry for the thread jack.

TRUCK WAS FOUND... Thanks everyone, 137 folks saw this thread... that's alot of eyes.

Here are the details for those interested.

So, our friend Nate was on his way back from picking up his TV from the repair guy in the valley when he looked to his right and, there in the Park and Ride at Trunk Road… was MATT’S TRUCK! The battery was dead and it was out of gas but, all his tools, speakers, subs, brand new pair of Oakleys… ALL UNTOUCHED!!!

Thank you for all the help and kind words. We have it back and we are so grateful. Let’s hope that the next time some drunk kid needs a ride to the Valley and can’t afford a cab he knocks on my door and asks for a ride first.
