Question Proper Pronounciation

A bit of a dumb question but people always say "Impreza" differently. So, the two most common being "IMP-RAY-ZAH" and "IMP-REZ-A" which do you say?

One other point of note, I see a lot of people, some salemen included who spell "Impreza" as "Imprezza" ... you'd think that when you sell the product you would know the proper spelling ...

Doesn't beat this one. Some friend of my brother thought that Subaru was an American car. He was wondering why I had a Japanese video dedicated to Impreza tuning with all Japanese parts/tuners when the Subaru is an American car. Needless to say, I just stared at him, ignored him and made him feel like an idiot which he is.

My first Subaru was leased through someone other than the dealership and they uised to call it a "Saab-a-ru".

Those must be the Swedish built ones.

British "IMPRETSA" British pronuncination of "Z" makes the Impreza sound even cooler!

The annonucers from Best-Motoring (Japanese Car Video/Magazine) say it along the lines of :
Implesa ~ Impesa

but of course, they make the car doesn't mean they're good at english("Impreza" isn't english.. but anyways)

the annonucers also say "start" as "stahto~"

which is pretty cool.. all english words sounds like japanese when you don't see subtitle

From my experience with the japanesse language and its native speakers... "L"'s and "R"'s are very dificult to pronounce....
