Our STX champ loser Sideshow Bob convinced us to make a post about the Wicked Big Meet. We were going to hold off on doing it because this morning those cunning fellows at Synaptic 3 beat us to it. Now we seem like a bunch of imitators who are low enough to engage in oneupsmanship for the sake of getting new customers. (and would we really do that?)
We were going to wait until the day of the event to announce all that we had planned for both the WBM and until we heard back from a few people, one being the Massachusetts State Lottery Commissioner regarding possible legal ramifications of giving away 25,000 in cash that may or may not have traces of cocaine, and some other people, like our new (very) silent partner Carlos from Venezuela who is hoping that DSG will be the perfect place to "invest" money to take an income tax hit.
Besides wasting your time with the usual trade show routine of hot girls (this is a family event) and bad food we will promise the following:
That our booth will be more LL Bean than Victoria's Secret
Unlimited multicolor finger paint autographs from STX champ Sideshow Bob, who distracted me while writing this and forced me to redo it.
The presence of our demo cars, which you've probably seen but most likely not in the sunlight. This includes: the car with the longest name ever, the DSG 240RS MAXI S07, Alex's Evo, and EL BRUSCO, which is actually a Subaru.
A chance to say hi again, harass or meet us for the first time.
A chance to win a black 2006 sti that we're going to randomly choose for this exciting giveaway from the parking lot.
finally, a chance to win either of our door prizes, a free tune on our dyno from DSG and Matt Koestner, and free labor on a gearbox rebuild for a WRX!
If you're hot you can lie in the ominous shadow of our truck Old Mother Hubbard and take a nap.
We'll see everyone there!
