Angry Someone hit my new WRX

Hey all, just got rear-ended today in my brand new WRX Wagon. Needless to say I'm very upset... There wasn't a lot of damage on my car, but the muffler is screwed up and I need a new rear bumper. I was wondering if there are any other problems that could have popped up because of this? I think the guy was going 10mph when he hit me, and I ended up hitting the guy in front of me. It sucks because I won't be able to get this into a mechanic until at least Wednesday and I am afraid to drive the car. If anyone else here has been rear-ended in a 2002 WRX/2.5RS/Outback I'd be interested to hear how extensive your damage was and how hard it was to get fixed (and if problems are still arising).. ARgghh.. I'm still shaken up from the accident.. I hate stupid drivers!! Thanks!!

They are fairly durable beasts . I would check for leaks in the gas tank though- remove the rear seat bottom as well and look under there as well as for drips/stains on the bottom of the car. I'd take it to the dealership and have them give it a good going over, especially since you were rear-ended, not at fault, and will not be paying for it in the long run .

Yeah, the Impreza is built like a tank. You should have seen the other car.. It was a 92 Buick, and his whole front end was toast. I don't think I would have fared so well in another car...
