You should be able to lower it at least a second. I ran my 02 wrx st.2 for the first time 13.6@100.87. One and only run with stage 2. My 60ft was 1.995. My best run stock was 14.45@92
Would 18's make that much difference?!? I have stock 16's 205

LOL ya 18s do make that big of a difference, i ran against my friends car twice, once with 16's and once with 18's. When i was on the 16s i would pull on him hard, we went to the track and i ran .1 second faster than him even with my 250lb friend in my car. Than i put on my 18s, he pulls a little on me while i am in the car by myself. Needless to say i'm not going to the track with my 18s, i dont wanna embarrase myself

o ya i made 220whp and my friend made 200whp on the same exact dyno.

Default slower???

I just ordered 17" rims/wheels for my car, does that mean that now I will run slower than with 16". Now I have 205 wide tires, but will get 225's for the 17".... why?wtf? can anyone explain.

It really depends on the wheels, but in general larger wheels and tires will slow you down for two reasons; more weight, and more weight toward the outside of the tire.

Hopefully I won't notice any difference.
Btw nice trap speed. The best I managed is 100.87 stage 2. What are your mods?

Don't feel bad man. The best I could manage last month w/ stage 2 was(cough) 14.1 @ 101. Of course I was only running 12 psi on the way to the track(excuses, excuses, I know!). I made the mistake of leaving some w/s off the top of the heat shield. Hot air BAD! I shouldn't even have run.
I got bested by my friend who has only stg 1 on his 07 wrx. Just gotta get back and do it again.

Bigger rims typically weigh more, same thing with the tire, it's more rotating mass, but you will usually get better traction. Sorry i'm sure most of you all already know this.

k&n typhoon intake
stock td04
1 step colder plugs
samco intercooler hoses

can't think of anything else for power mods, have some suspension work done, so i'm more like a stage 2 +, soon to have a sti tmic to the list and see what happens.
