Default UPDATE! on Project 1996 Legacy GT, Please

I have read every issue, and know it didn't make it to SEMA, but has anything been done since then? Has the stand alone EM been installed, and tuned? I would really like to see what that Disco Potato can do.

I have a 1997 with an EJ20G, and want to drop one of these motors from crawford in down the road. I'm just reallycurious where the power band will be, and how much power it is going to lay down.

Just don't forget about the old girl! Please send us an some news in an upcoming issue or something.

Thanks

Trust me, there are some projects we'd *rather* forget about. This is one of them. It has thus far proven to foil us at every turn.

However, there is light at the end of tunnel. It's coming out of the paint shop tomorrow. Not some crappy garage job, either. No, it's a serious show quality paint job. Motor goes back in right after we get it back.

It's been a pain, it's over a year late, but damn if it ain't going to look good when it's done!

Today marks another milestone for the LGT. The engine is in... again. Will be finishing the assembly etc. this week and I hope to have it back on the road before the weekend. Here is hoping.

good for you guys! I'm glad to hear it hasn't been forgotten. Please keep us updated, and an update with details in a future issue would be awesome. I would really like to see some specific tech on the EM you guys use, and how you tune it. Until then I will just keep checking my mailbox!

We have had a few setbacks. Sorry guys. The car was running, but now is not, seems we have some gremlins to work out. There is a breif update in the issue that just went to press, it will be on newsstands soon.

Thanks! I will look for it in my mailbox, not the news stand

Just make sure when you get all the gremlins out of the car, you do a full detailed write up on what was done. There would be a lot of BD owners that would appreciate it. That is a very cool motor. I like the simplicity of the STI bottom end with the stock 2.5 NA heads. Maybe you could list a price from Crawford for the "SubieSport Speacial" long block!

Thanks and keep up the good work! We know you guys are working your butts off to bring us a good magazine!!!!
