I've at least decided I want one, but a purchase will have to wait until summer (june/july)...

Anyone know if the Subaru Canada website will ever be updated?? Wouldn't mind knowing what the price will be up here..

Are thinking group buy spt? Edmonton has the closest dealer to me, so if something got going down there I'd sure like to hear about it !!

I want one, but don't think I can realistically say I can get one.

I want one, I can probably try to afford it, but maybe it'll be hard to get initially. The perfect plan is (for those who haven't been sold on 4-door or new looks) to keep your RS, turbo it, or NA modify it. By the time the car runs down, we will know if an STi version is out or there will be the chance of obtaining a wreck and do an engine swap, etc, etc. Maybe you will just win a give-away WRX like some of us ar thinking.

Ken -- sshhhaaaduup! What are you trying to do -- lower our odds of winning the Primm Motorsports WRX giveaway? hahahaha! J/K!

For those of you Canadians who have yet to venture out of this forum, here's the link to the WRX giveaway. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/Forum1/HTML/017528.html

Enjoy and good luck!

Oh yeah, I agree with Ken -- I'd rather TC my current ride cauz I like the looks of it better. And once that car dies (hopefully it won't for a *long* time even if TC'd), the STi version will hopefully have been already released and I'll be able to afford a used one on my (not so) huge teaching salary!

LaterZ!
Darren!!

I want a Blue WRX wagon, so bad. But it's just not in the cards right now. Plus, I still owe alot on the RS and we just bought a house. I'll wait a few years this time, instead of buying the first model out.

I talked to my dealer yesterday and he said the Canadian price on the WRX should be announced at the Montreal Auto Show. Not sure when that is, early Feb. at the latest I think.
I want to buy one, the only thing holding me back is the fact this is the first model year of a new car, but then again, most of the drivetrain is a carry over......hmmm...

I want to. But can't be sure until I see the car in person and find out the pricing.

I did order a yellow wagon. Ah yes, this thisng doesn't exist or does it? Well, when I ordered it we -dealer and I- didn't knew. Yesterday he -the dealer- told me that even yellow sedans would maybe not be available in Canada.

Anyway:

Cool

Hehe, here's my "plan":

lease a WRX as the 2nd car, mod the hell out of my RS (and drive the WRX when the RS is in the shop), and by the time the lease is done, I'll see if the STi is out and if I have any money left for it.

Of course, with this kind of plan, you won't be seeing me out with either of my car...

Plan: Save money to pay off my current car within 3 years, or as soon as possible, if I feel like spending money on major mods, I'll just put it onto what I owe, after my car is fully paid, then I can get another "fun car"... can you say STi by then?? House? Who needs a house =P?

Current plan is to get one in July or so. Affording it will be no problem, just a matter of building up what I consider to be an acceptable down payment.
