I wonder if this is like a special showroom model, because if they're ready to ship them out, wouldn't they be shipping more?

That could be the NY Auto Show pre-production car. Maybe it was loaned out for a dealer event.

That's the first shot I've seen of the new Impreza that I've really liked it in WRB.

i guess impreza's really do start out ugly and start to grow on ppl. just a few weeks ago, people were puking and cursing all over the new style.
it IS starting to look a bit better than when i first saw it also. a bit.... |

DiSSaPOINTment
No good. if i were a laymen car buyer, looking in the market, i would be comparing that car to a Ford Focus, or a Mazda 3,...In other words i think the 2008 should have exceled in a much better look.
PS:id rather take a Mazda3speed....<sigh> |

I like the style of the '08 Sti (from what I've seen) but I can't stand the chrome grill and while tail lights of the '08 WRX. Way to go Chrysler.

If you were a layman buyer, you probably wouldn't have looked at a WRX at all last year. Or, you would have seen it and ran. The looks did improve and it's a more approachable body style that doesn't scare off your average Johnny CarBuyer.

Looks good. Since they only shipped in one car it must be for a special purpose.

He's in the center/shared lane. Dealerships often don't have the room to pull in a truck and get a car off. They are unloaded in that center median and then pulled into the lot. Very common. |

i just dont like it.. i dont get any good feelings when i look at it. The interior looks too plane and less performance oriented. and there is nothing really special about this new wrx to me. plus the intercooler has plastic end tanks and ive heard plenty of stories from when DSMs had issues with that. but thats minor.. if this thing shows up at a suby meet it will look out of place IMO.
doesnt look rally inspired.. well im just complaining now. |
