Default so thats where my gas mileage went

i changed my air filter last month when i changed my oil (21k miles on the car) and all this year i've noticed i've been getting crap mileage (less than 200 miles when when i hit the 1/4 tank mark) now i'm back to 250 miles

aren't we all?

Some things to remember, know your service schedule... i.e spark plugs, air filters, oil changes, coil packs, all that fun stuff that keeps your cars reliability. With all the mods, sometimes we forget the simple stuff.

I try and accellerate with moderation and in town I only get about 200 miles to a tank... if I mix in highway driving I can get about 250 miles to the tank...

i swear my meter lies to me...someone tell me why it doesn't read my real gas until i turn off the car leave it for awhile...then turn it back on i'll drive for hours and meter says i used 1/8 of a tank...the next day...i'm like hmm...1/3 is gone...this reminds me i gotta change my air filter too O.o...city/hwy for me doesn't change much kind of...because the way i drive..but i average 210mpt...or 15-16mpg lmao...dumpin additive i tend to accelerate faster than usual but get 250mpt or 19-20mpg

(*whispers* sometimes i dip into the 13-14mpg area..eep)

Wow thank god I'm not the only one that gets 200 miles to a tank with the STi. It sucks big time, I looked at my fram air filter and washed it off, but my car needs a new one. I would think your car would get more than 200, it's brand new and without mods.

I've had all of my fluids changed regulary. I'm not sure when to change the spark plugs though, unfortunately I don't have an owners manual.

wes i'd go ahead and change them if your still running the stock plugs, might make a difference in the cars feel.

well no, see my car is brand new. brand new cars usually get poor fuel mileage as they break in. It is suppose to get better once I reach 7000 miles or so... Plus I've been using the A/C lately.
