Here is what I got... Alpine IVA-W200, flush mount... I think it looks nice, neat and factory looking! In fact when the radio is turned off, the screen is the same color as the dash!

i have the kenwood indash. I was gonna get the pioneer but it couldn't do what i wanted (watch TV while playing DVD-MP3's, or visa versa). Im super happy with it. Its not their new one, its last years model. cost like $700 not including the nav unit, or the TV tuner.
BTW, just finished dynamatting, HUGE improvement!

Is that kenwood system the DDX 6019 DVD Player with KNA-G510 navigation?

considering the same one. I've heard rumors that you have to use the remote to change tracks while navigating, is this true?

yeah, 6019 thats the one. The nav is not DVD based which is a good thing Im told, I believe its either hard drive based or flash drive based. It has a SIM car that I can update on the web.
About the track changing, no not at all. While nav is running, i can switch over to a DVD, mp3, TV, etc. I can also have the nav onscreen and have DVD, TV, MP3 controls at the bottom of screen. These are all things that I could not get the pioneer to do. With a good friend of mine as a authorized kenwood and pioneer dealer, he told me the pioneer nav is the best, but their user interface is lacking.
One thing I havent tried but is possible, dual sourse (front channels NAV, rear channels play a movie). I believe this feature is more for a limo than my suby.
Hope all this helps.

I have the Kenwood 8019. If you use an ipod i would get the 7019 or the 8019. The ipod interface between the 6019 and the 7019 Is night and day. I did not expect to use my ipod that much when i recieved the 8019 now it is primarily all i use due to how easy it is to use. There are several ways that you can set the screen to get to the controls. Kenwood uses Garmin Nav. it is either HD or seperate unit based. All upgradable from the web. no DVD...
