Default FT Cobb Catback for 3" catback

I just got a new downpipe with a flat flange that uses flat gaskets. The cobb catback is supposed to mate up with the DP using a donut gasket. (stock or other aftermarket)

So I'm looking for a 3" exhaust with a flat flange to trade for. Preferably something that doesn't have a giant muffler tip.

- GONE - got a SPT BOSAL

I have a 3" flat flange with a few inches of 3" pipe on it. If you go that route let me know.

Hey, thanks but I don't think it'll fit. I just looked it up:

Quote:
t will bolt up to a complete stock downpipe, but not a aftermarket 3" downpipe, which should be considered if you plan on upgrading your downpipe in the future

I'm more worried about finding a quality welder. the only exhaust shops I can find around my area are midas and midas, and I don't trust midas.

Would a body shop be able to do this?

You'd have to inquire, but I cant imagine that it would be that hard to find one. Ive had mine on the car for 20k+ miles..no leaks or anything.

not to get off topic, but i have a cobb cat back mated to an invidia downpipe which has a 3 inch flat flange. I just used the gasket that came with the downpipe (regular 3 inch exhaust gasket) and i have no leaks...

But for anyone interested...

I'm looking for anything that doesn't have a huge tip.

Like perrin single tip, evoII, borla, or something along those lines.

Let me know if you have anything

I don't have much money but could offer my 05STi cat-back and my 05wrx cat-back for your cobb cat back. I'll do all the driving and wrenching. It would be the perfect match for my cobb catted DP... :P
