Default Blood Donators??

Our Clearwire office is trying to hold a blo od drive end of July/beginning of August. In order to do this, the Blo od Bank requires 20 people to commit to being donators. If anyone would like to help support the blo od bank, please let me know so we can get this set up. It will be held at our main office at 3120 Denali St, Ste 6 (my old hang out).

PM me with your name and contact info so I can forward it onto them.

Hope

Do you have an actual day picked out. Cuz it's during the normal work week I'll need to take the some time off I usually feel pretty .... drained ( LOL ) after giving blood.

She mentioned July 30 or Aug 4th. I will let her know that it may be easier if it's on a Saturday for those who work.

i have attempted to give blood 3 times and each time i was denied. i was sick and my temp was too high, then my iron cells were too low, and then it was the whole mad cow scare. so doubtful even phil will be able to donate blood because he's from Canada and lived on a farm.

I'm a blood donor so I will volunteer. Just give me a call sometime when you get some more detailed info. Pretty sure I have my blood bank card in my wallet.

so far, it looks like we could get at least 10 of us to volunteer, I may need to contact each of you for info if they require it.

i know usually most state regulations say that you can't donate blood if you've had body modifications (i.e. tattoos, piercings) within the last year...you need to wait 12 months b/c they're worried about hepatitis...but different states have different laws...it also depends on where you got the body mod...i've heard that it depends on the blood bank, as well...

i don't believe in blood donation...i take great pride in my bodily fluids, i grow blood myself from some of the best marrow known to man and don't go around giving free samples to anyone who asks

on a serious note...can't

ah. ok, well that makes sense. they always asked me about "being" with anyone with hepatitis and that question would throw me off because the ex had a rare type of non-transferrable hepatisis: Autoimmune Hepatitis C. Some nasty nasty crap for sure. so, i would tell them, and they would look puzzled. Plus, since i was adopted, i have NO IMMEDIATE BLOOD FAMILY MEDICAL HISTORY so that certainly scared them. all in all, between living in England prior to 1990, or whenever the dates were, i think they just run!
