Roving Car Checkstops

i just watched on CFRN that Edmonton Police Service and/or RCMP is going to be conducting roving car checkstops. They'll be checking all ur lights, seatbelts, tinted windows etc.

This is crappy for me cause i got 35% tint on the front windows, and a 85% tint banner on the front windshield (should be okay though since it's the same level as my window shades, right??).
I wonder if they'll pin me on my exhaust, it's not THAT loud, but it is noticable.

No way? Whats the big deal anyways? Why dont they spend their time catching real criminals. Not bothering us because our lights are the wrong color??

Start carrying printouts of the MVA I guess, and maybe a voice recorder.

This is just a good opportunity to author your own "Checkstops for Dummies" book.

We got import ghost cars instead here...

from what i gathered they are pulling over people randomly and doing the checks. It's just more likely that i'll be pulled over cause we drive a "fast" import car. That's goes for everybody else in etown...
We'll just have to see what happens. i wonder how long this is running for.
