Default Injen CAI for 05sti used on 06 wrx

I wanted to pick up an Injen CAI from a local member which was made for his 05 Sti. I, on the other hand have an 06 wrx. I was wondering about the compatibility with this CAI. Although they have different part numbers for our years on Injen's website, the list of parts included for both CAI kits are identical. Well I be risking running some messed up a/f ratio if by chance the piping design is just a bit different?

Theres really not point in running any intake unless you are making serious numbers right now.

II say stay with the stock intake

Yeah Yeah, I know. I'm just doing this for giggles- noise maker. I did the snorkus delete already and want to hear my turbo spool up even more. It's going to be a while until I get some serious power mods done.

It will fit, but you should be tuned for it.

I had mine sitting around untill i had enough parts to throw on at once to make my re-tune worth it.

SO basically I just need a tune to get the most efficient power with it? But I just want to make sure I don't risk hurting anything with the CAI without a tune.

Putting an intake on your car for giggles is not cool. ANY intake needs to be tuned, while there are damn few that can be bolted up, the Injen is not one of them. Get it tuned.
