Talking COBB CAI Installed.

Just recieved and installed my cobb cai. About to go for a test drive. The intake itself looks great. Install is straight forward and very simple. Took maybe 15 minutes. I'll post more after I go for a lil drive

First impressions. No loss of low end. If anything there was a gain. The sound is great. Not too loud, but mean. I like it

If you are looking for parts for your freinds RS, the cobb intake is only made for 2000-2002 RS. also, I think cobb came out with an intake for the WRX, but i haven't seen it.

hope this helps

I don't think so. I know I didnt lose any low end. But it really does feel like it accelerates quicker.

I love mine. Just let the rpms get high and that noise makes me think im going faster. but seriously i definatly gained highway acceloration and the low end dosn't seem to suffer at all. Im that guy that likes to see if he can get around town easily without letting it get above 2k and i definatly havn't had any problems with it. Would buy that intake again in a second.

02 cobb intake owner here. I would buy the intake again if I was going N/A.

Those are 3 pictures reciently taken with my CAI. it has been on since mile 5000...I am at 20k and no problems yet.

To hear it in action (along with a little accident I had) go to this video..(warning...big MPG and don't try this at home...bent rims suck!)

Those looked like the wrong type of tires for an off-roading adventure. Car sounded good though.
