Question I need yet more help heh

Ok guys I am headed to Toronto by morning I will be on Warden ave where ever that is. My plans were to goto eithe go racing or automorph cause it sounds like they have the widest selection on impreza parts. Mainly body stuff. But they don;t answer the phone I have the address are they still open?

Ok next question. This is very important I find out. Is china town in Toronto safe? I have a coworker that said she was scared going through? I figure I will be going during the day but should I watch out for anything (gangs, bombs, evil superheros) ?
Please tell me streets for china town or the best ones.

Thanks guys,
John

Don't worry about... Toronto is a big city but there isn't really a bad neighbourhood...

Only thing I would suggest is to take your car and pay for indoor parking and not take the subway in the wee hours....

I'm from Ottawa and Toronto isn't a problem... just parking is annoying in the downtown core... Maybe the TO guys could help you out more but I've never had a problem....

I lived in Toronto (East AND West end) for a number of years. No troubles in Chinatown - but STAY AWAY from Jane & Finch area.

Only thing to be scared about in Chinatown is the drivers (sorry guys & gals, but it's true). One of my friends got two cars totaled in one month in that area (hit from behind while stopped at a stoplight - both times!)

Really though, you'll be fine. TO's a decent city.

Have a fun trip!

Toronto is a very safe city no matter where you go with some notable exceptions but still, you have to find trouble, it usually doesn't find you. Just keep your wits about you as applies whenever you travel anywhere. Most likely they'll see your license plates and keep their distance.

Since you're not familiar with the traffic type, watch out for streetcars/trams when making left turns in Chinatown, they usually surprise visitors and there are stoplights galore on Spadina Avenue, the major artery through there.

On foot, no problems in Chinatown. Lots of restaurants close down at 3-4am just long enough to feed the clubbing populace. Toronto has the most dance club surface area of any city in the world (Berlin #2) so have fun!
