Default Next Day At the Track

So, when is everyone going back to the track? Wednesday nights work well. If its 60 degrees out, i'm there. I'll have to look up the track schedule again.

How many people are we talking about when you say "sundays are crowded"

5 cars in the staging lanes? 20?

The mornings are cooler, might consider a sunday morning. This coming monday there is a 4th of july weekend (week) Monday is a street performance seriers (TnT i imagine) BUt funny cars the rest of the time.

I want to figure out a day to come out, wednesdays would work good, maybe Sundays too. But I'd like to get my uppipe installed first, and do some routine maintenance.

Anybody doing an install day sometime?

sundays are very busy and it's NOT cooler out. trust me. weds was only hot because it was high temps. usually eves are much better for teh track, less crowd and cooler outside. and yes, at times, there may be 20 cars lined up for the lanes, plus the jr funny cars, bikes, snowmachines, or anything else that may be heading down the track.

20 cars ?? thats it?? i have been at tracks in other states where you were LUCKY to get 3-4 runs in 7-8 hours of waiting. Saturdays and sundays have a better prepped track as well but y ou guys are awd so it doesnt matter.

And well for me i woudl rather go out on a weekend and see some big boys run then to have to sit behind 50 gutted slow booty civics waiting to go.

well the last sunday event I was at, there was probably about 30 cars or so. Not all of them were running at the same time either mind you. There was maybe 15 cars lined up in the lanes. Most of the wait was for the kids in their little 1/8th mile cars to stage and run.

It was more entertaining though to go during an event day then just a test and tune. I'd rather watch some bad ass cars out there then a couple civics driven by people who would probably be better off driving automatics.

i go out for TnT and don't race. so i'd rather not have the car sit and heat soak any more than i have to. plus, they lowered the price for Weds night to $20 for TnT and $10 for spectator. so when phil and i go, that's $10 we save, not as many cars to deal with, and yes, there are still some of the muscle cars out there to watch, not just the noisy hamster civics.
