Well, depending on what you want to do. If you plan to stay N/A or not etc... From looking at all the intakes available, the JC Sports one has proven Dyno records showing gains. As for your exhaust system, well that's really up to you. You don't have to, but it'd be nice.

there are a lot of different intakes and they all seem to work pretty well. if you do a search, you will probally find info on all of them. as for the exhaust, you will feel the improvement with the intake alone, but an exhaust will improve it that much more.

Yes, please do a search.

The JCS intake is a decent unit. You asked if there are other choices, yes there are. Minnam/Technik, Cobb, Ganzflow, ISR, Rallispec, Weapon R, and probably tons more I'm forgetting.

Probably the best one I see right now on the market that will probably give you the most horsepower? That will most likely have to be Cobb Tuning's cold air intake. That is a true cold air setup. Next up will probably be the Ganzflow one, though I sincerely doubt how much flow a regular drop-in panel filter will have.

For conventional tube style intakes, I only have experience with Minnam/Technik's intake so I'm rather biased. But let me just tell you that they will ALL be about the same. The design is basically the same throughout for each manufacturer, and lastly it boils down to what filter you put at the end of the intake. However, Rallispec's unit incorparates an oil-catch can and a cold air shield with their system, but you do pay big bucks for it.

That is basically the gist of it all.

Thumbs up

There is also the PDM intake -- a few of us in Vancouver are running around with a PDM intake -- it's similar to the Ganzflow one, but at a much more reasonable cost!

You can find more info about it at http://www.pdm-racing.com.

LaterZ!

If you consider Cobb's intake, you can get directly from PRM since you are in Canada.
