Default Quick Question

I have a stock 06 STI. I have a Greddy TT and Profec B from another turbo kit. I was told that the TT would mess with my alarm and that electronic Boost controllers were junk. Please give me some advice on this. I have the stuff up for sale, but if it is usable and reliable, I will use it. Thanks

The turbo in the STi already have a cooling line and oil line, you don't need a TT. For the Boost controller, if you are going to use it, get tuned for it, its safer that way.

Who said that?! Profec B is a fantastic boost controller, it does not get any simpler to set up or use, there's just one giant knob, turn it - more boost, less boost.

Just adding boost and not adjusting anything else (fuel, A/F, timing, etc) is a recipe for BOOM. You'd think you'd know that.

Right, I was just saying that EBC is a good one; not to go ahead and crank it.

Thanks guys, appreciate the info. I heard about the STI not needing a TT, but I just like to play it safe. If you know anyone that does need one, let them know I have one.
