Default Wind Noise at Normal Speeds in WRX

I know people have posted about noise at really high speeds but I think this is different-
I am getting a whistling-type wind noise that can be heard at lower speeds, even around 30MPH, as well as when going faster. It doesn't seem to change much with speed either except maybe to get somewhat louder. I don't think it's window seals because I can crack any of the windows open and still hear it. As far as localizing it until I can get someone to ride with me to listen my best guess is maybe right-front but it's hard to tell for sure.
This also seems to get more noticeable as the outside temp gets colder.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and found the cause.

Common problem I'm afraid... it's the wind whistling between the crack in the passenger side mirror housing. Because they are able to fold back so they don't get broken off in tight parking spots, the wind can get in between the base part attached to the door and the dome that holds the mirror itself. Some people have had luck with seperating the base and the mirror housing and putting something like felt in there to block the wind. I find it's easier to just turn up the radio .

Ok, thanks. I'll have to try putting something in there and seeing if it helps.
I can only turn up the radio so much, I have the stock head unit (for now).

question is then, are there aftermarket mirrors that look good, lower profile, and are "fixed" position to eliminate that noise? that should eliminate some noise, but at higher speeds, you'll still get a fair amount of noise from the hood scoop and also since the front isn't very aerodynamic ( can't remember the Cd though ).
