alright which kit do u recomend im just using it for dragracing so i really didnt think the trunk mount kit is what i need so i was looking at the 2 quart model but it dooesnt have programble controller r the abillity to data log

I have installed in my 2002 WRX Wagon the Coolingmist Deluxe 150psi (silver pump) kit bought awhile back off a group buy on NASIOC. I did find a Tuner, Jarred (PDX-Portland OR.) who was able to tune my kit without the Vari-Cool Controller with a mixture of 50/50 meth and distilled water. However, Jarred stated that with the controller the tune would be more accurate and easier to do. Since I'm a big fan of accurate and easy, Is there any discount for just the Vari-Cool Controller alone during this group buy? From what I understand, the controller is the only part keeping me from having an official Stage II Coolingmist Kit (woot) . If there are any more parts needed other than the controller for the upgrade to Stage II please let me know.

Again, the question is: Is there any discount for just the Vari-Cool Controller alone during is group buy?

P.S. I also upgraded to the 1-Gal tank option.

Subjective, how hard do you drive? In what conditions do you drive? What do you drive and power level? It usually takes about two tanks of 91 oct. Cali gas (roughly 600-650 miles) for me to go through a 1-Gallon mix of 50/50 meth and distilled water. I have a Coolingmist Stage-2 system on my 2002 WRX wagon which is tweaked with the typical Stage-4 modifications (Walbro Pump, 555 Pinks, SR30 APS turbo, Samco Hoses, Haywood and Scott TB exhaust w/ one mid cat). I also do some spirited driving now and then and find when I hit the twisties in the mountains I can easily go through a 1-gallon 50/50 mix when acending grades, passing trucks and general whoopee-arse driving. It also depends on what level you set your controller to activate the spray system. I use boost psi (setting-5) to activate my Coolingmist unit. Setting-5 is relatively early in the activation cycle so I may use a little more meth/water than your average W/I driver.
