Spoilers standard in Canada

Has anybody heard that spoliers are standard equipment on Canada WRX's ?

Subaru has a blue WRX at West Edmonton Mall last week. It had spolier, 17" wheels, and the price displayed was MSRP of $34,995. This car also had the decal package which priced out at $1500 additional.

I just noticed that the Canada subaru site does list the spoiler as standard equipment. Yippi !

That must be some scheme. What does it look like? $1500 for stickers?

It was the traditional subaru rally car decals. I thought they looked kinda cheep. May be good for the first year and then they would peal.

The spoiler is standard actually. If you go to www.subaru.ca and follow the WRX link (HTML mode)to specifications/exterior features you'll find that the rear spoiler(large type)is standard on the sedan and the rear spoiler roof line is standard on the wagon. The 17 inch wheels however, aren't.

Did anybody else notice a redline of 9000RPM? Is this for real or a mistake?
It's under the interior features.

i too have noticed the 9000RPM red line....i think that it is a typo. if you look at the pics you will see that the tach only goes to 7000RPM

The WRX is gone already.

I think the dealer has moved it to the autoshow.

yup.....the autoshow starts tomorrow. With the Press release happening around 10 i think.
the WRX will be there and Subaru will have a Rally booth setup run by Dave Sharp. He's the Coordinator for Rally West, something like that.

I'm going friday around 6 or so.
