Default Accessport Launch Control and Flat Foot Shifting

I got the latest LC and FFS enabled maps on my 05 STI and just have to say this is the greatest thing ever to be made available to our cars since the accessport.. Here are some videos:

Possibly in the near future when LC and FFS features become programmable from the AP itself.

BUT... Would you really want to launch your 5MT from a standstill under boost?

some of us have 2.0L motors with a 6spd
I think the biggest reason we haven't seen it for the 2.0L is because the 2.5Ls are drive by wire. I don't think they've got the launch control developed for those of us with cars that aren't.
that being said they need to figure it out soon cause this would definately be a reason for me to sell my v1 AP for the v2.

Oh well. I'm pretty good at launching awd vehicles myself anyways. About 4500, slip the clutch, listen to the tires chirp and go!

GTSpec Gen 2 headers
Invidia 3" Bellmouth Catless Downpipe
3" Twin tip Borla Hush catback
Intake resonator delete, K&N Panel Filter, larger intercooler

That's it performance wise. The Borlas are pretty quiet but the car sounds odd because its got headers and runs catless.

Time to sell the V1 on Ebay

Only problem is, LC and FFS were available before the AP. You just needed a different form of EM. WT2003, AP users. WT2003.

Have you ever bought a computer?

My $3100 Toshiba Notebook would probably go on Ebay for under a grand now, and its a bit over a year old.
