Default Clutch problem or turbo problem?

Hey, Ive been having a slight problem with my 07 wrx sti(1809 miles on it)(and yes i learned how to drive stick on this car). Seems like when i jam on it it kinda hesitates at 3k rpm and then again b4 the boost. Happens in first and third gear. When i try to keep it at 3k rpm i cant tell if its a slip. It doesnt grind at all but im getting kinda nervous. It feels a little hoppy if i get on it when im at 3k rpm but after the boost it is fine. Any ideas on to what it might be.

07's have had a hesitation issue, dealer re-flash will fix the issue. There's a long thread on this topic in the 2.5l forum. Don't worry, it's not your heavy left foot
