Question Defroster/Foglight Switch Bulb

The rear defrost switch bulb (the one that tells you it is on) burned out in my fiancee's '97 Legacy Outback. Does anybody know how to get switch out? After I get the switch out, how do I get at the bulb? Is there a part number for a replacement bulb from Subaru or another manufacturer? I did a search, but haven't found a solid answer. Any help anyone can provide would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!!

It did happened to my dad's 99GT and I bring back to dealer to repair it since it was under warranty.
The dealer return me the burned bulbs and its a really tinny one and I did find it at the junkyard on those old Honda's switch panel but I don't know they are the same or not!
I think you could order it at the dealer and I think it may cost less then $10 each(I'm not sure the price since it was free for charge)
BTW, the time of the replacement is less then an hour so I don't think it is a hard job to do for the bulb replacement!!

I haven't removed the panel on our 97 legacy that holds the switches but I have on my RS. Just a few screws and then pull and prey. The switch is just pressed in there. You may be able to get it out from the back. There are 2 bulbs that just 1/4 twist and come out with a little coaxing from a small jewelers screw driver. Here is a pic of a front fog lamp switch.

This is kind of what it looks like inside. this is actually the internals of a rear fog lamp switch but the bulbs are in the same place and are the same type. There is no PC board in the front fog lamp switch. I got some dash bulbs from Sugar in the vendor section for around 2 bucks or so each. some info here:

Thanks to both of you. I can't wait to get moved into my new house where I will have a garage. I'll be a little bit more able to experiment when I won't freeze my butt off or get rained on!!! Thanks again!!
