Default GrimmSpeed Triple Thick Phenolic Spacer Group Buy

Introducing our new Triple Thick Phenolic Spacers. These 8mm are for rides with front-mount intercoolers ...reason being is they are so tall it will raise the intake manifold up to much and mis-align the throttle body if you used with a tmic.

Do you know what your intake manifold sits on?...a superheated boxer engine. If you don't know already, the cooler your intake air is the more HP your car will achieve. We present you the answer to this age old problem, raising the intake manifold off the engine with GrimmSpeed's new real Phenolic Intake Manifold/TGV to Engine Spacer.

Phenolic spacers have been used for years by many other specialized automotive companies, but this is newer technology to the Subaru world.

-Greatly reduces the transer of heat from engine to intake manifold
-One of a kind true Phenolic material, not cutting board material like others.
-The cooler your intake temperature is the denser the air is which leads to more power.
-Direct bolt-on.
-We have installed both with and without OEM Subaru Gaskets and have had no issues with either way. We recommend if you have bad mating surfaces then use an OEM gaskets on both sides. If you choose to install with 2 sets of oem gaskets, the top gasket will not sit on the alignment pin so you will have to align it by using the 4 IM bolts.
-USA made
-Regular price: 84.99

Pricing includes 8 longer intake manifold bolts with washer. You will need to use these because the spacers are to thick for the oem length bolts.

Applications:
02-07 WRX
02-07 STi
02-07 Legacy GT
02-07 Forrester XT

Pricing tiers are as follows:
1-9 participants: 79.99
10-19 participants: 74.99
20+ participants: 69.99

OFFICIAL LIST
1. Mycues1982

5. Forced Induction PG
6. boost junkie
7. coyote73176

We have OEM Subaru Gaskets as well if you would like to install them along with the spacers. $10/set or 18.99/2 sets. If you are going to use them i'd recommend buying two sets and using one oem gaskets on each side of the spacer.

Shipping to the lower 48 will be $5. Group Buy will be closed on the 30th of this month. Orders will be shipped shortly there after.

You can definitely put me on the list. I have to pull the intake off again anyway, may as well add something while I'm in there.
