Default How is In-N-Out Burger still in business???

So I'm an In-N-Out Burger noob, I ate my first one yesterday, and I think it was the worst burger I've ever eaten! Fries too!

In fairness to the franchise, I am searching myself to see if I helped create this negative impression.

Did I not order it right? (cheeseburger, onions, lettuce, tomato)???

Was I at an unfavorable location, (Tempe, AZ), for that first impression???

I mean, they put all the veggies on the bottom which felt unnatural in my mouth.

And I think the fries were made of plastic!!??

I'm slightly distressed as I had high hopes for this experience. OT, help me get my fast food sanity back!

Rip out your tongue, return it to your mother, and demand a replacement.

and you probably ate it upside down.

Double double animal style + well done animal style fries = happy stomach exploding heart

their fries are horrible.
i dont care if they make them .25 seconds before i eat them, they are the worst fries i have ever eaten.

I like their burgers though but once you cut away the bull, its just an average burger joint.

a list of things better than in-n-out fries

1) any fry that has been made or ever will be made by any eating establishment on the face of the earth
2) squash
3) munging a dead hooker
4) the omlet with ham MRE
5) a full spit cup from your redneck uncle Ceefus.

I start salivating somewhere over Nebraska for In-N-Out whenever I travel out West.

I was a little bit underwhelmed also. I mean, it was OK, but I was expecting a major experience the way it's been talked up. I think Five Guys edges In-N-Out by just a little bit.

Trust me, it's you.

I miss those burgers so badly, especially animal style. Fries are incredible, too. They are fresh and not frozen like you are used to.

In N Out is the only thing I miss about CA.

These analogies make sense and certainly put in perspective the In-N-Out burger. But is an omlet and ham MRE that bad? Should we give them to the enemy and not our soldiers???

the omlet with ham MRE rolls pretty hard.
you need to find a happy place in order to eat it.

the best way is to take everythign else in the MRE and just throw it in with the omlet, heat it, and gag.
