Default Fuel Filter replacement - where is fuel pump relay?

I have the manual, also found instructions on here and scoobymods on how to replace it, but where is the relay!?!?!?!?!

manual has a terrible picture that shows nothing of where it is, everyone on this site says "pull the fuse" or "disconnect the relay" but not where it is.

Someone please point for me. Thanks

And i need my car every morning so i'd rather not let it sit overnight.

You don't need to remove any fuses/relays to replace a fuel filter. Just shut the car off and let it sit for about 10 minutes while the fuel pressure bleeds down. Then, remove the two clamps on top of the fuel filter, pop the lines off, change the filter, reinstall the lines and tighten everything back up. Then, turn the key from Off to On several times without starting the engine to check for leaks, and to let the fuel pressure build back up. Provided that nothing's leaking and you put the filter on properly (the two ports on the filter are labeled, and it's actually pretty hard to put on incorrectly), you should be good to go.

Alright i'm going to go try it.
THANKS

Isn't a ton of fuel going to come out without depressurizing the system?

I did this on my MR2 and it was as easy as pulling the fuse in the box.

I always pop off my fuel cap to release tank pressure too.

Thanks guys all done.

I knew the take out/install was going to be easy, but i really thought fuel would come gushing out without pulling the relay.

VERY minimal gas if any came out, i just kept the hoses suspended and the car was off for maybe 20 minutes prior.

Sitting overnight seems exaggerated, but maybe some cars/areas don't release pressure as quickly???
