WERD! All of the above should be expected when traveling in vietnam. If you were aware of these things before hand than you could've planned ahead and prevented these occurances.

sunburn - Im sure you had sunscreen but probably ran out and had no place in sight that sold sunblock since nobody in vietnam uses it.LOL

food poisoning - Always second guess what you're about to eat. I know there's a lot of fresh vegetables but be wary of anything that has to be cooked. I know you can't be too picky but just be cautious.

begging strangers - yeah be very careful who and where you give money. I know you feel bad and want to help but if you help one you gotta help them all.

Able still has your car. I'll call them tomorrow. I bet you still don't have an assignment. There's not even one base on my EQUAL listing!

2A371 (F-15 Avionics). I'm looking at the projected grade of E-6, for which there are no bases in my DEROS window.

Same time I'm leaving. As of 1 December I'm outta here. Assignment yet? Where ya going?

Hai,

As for the noise, Able said they've been unable to duplicate it, but they're going to have someone else drive it. If they haven't got it sorted by Monday, I'll stop by and show them how (50% throttle around 2000 RPM did it). Oh, and your clutch is definitely bad....it feels like crap.
