Default Ultimate Racing package A

in my quest for more power i am in a rut. Cobb stg 2 which is real impressive. Dyno with just that says 277 hp and 318 ftlbs of torque.
this is the problem. I saw the post where Cobbs AccessPORT greatly reduces the power you could make because of its off the shelf stuff.

This is where i found Ultimate Racing package A
$1750
3 inch SS single cat Down Pipe
3 inch ss exhaust
K&N panel Air filter
EcuTek ECU Flash

310 hp
324 ft/lbs......to the wheels.

considerably more power for the same price.

what do you guys think.....should i add this to the cart?
if anyone has this package let me know what you think. Pros cons of both.

If i go with this package i'll be getting
Perrin FMIC
Perrin header
Perrin Upipe
Perrin intake

then im done. I do not wish to go any further.

Thanks for your time guys.

I'd stay away from getting locked into EcuTek. See if they will do an openecu/enginuity tune instead. Should reduce the price some too.

cool, i'll have to look into that. Ive heard good things about all different flashes and what not, but i still cant decide, they all sound so good lol. Either way i have a mustang dyno down the street....should i just pro tune with all this stuff and call it a day

pro tune is almost always better than a pre made stage map, could be wrong but pretty sure i'm not.

They just dyno'd it on different equipment. An off the shelf reflash from one place is going to be very similar to one from another place. Either setup could/should be professionally tuned in order to get the most power from it. I wouldn't base my purchase on the horsepower claims of the vendor.
