haha, yeah, i saw that. It would be a badass car, that's for sure! But, I love my car and I've been working on small steps to get it closer to my goal. Which is basically this;

and here is the original 4x4 stock version for comparison.

hahahaha

I just got my smoked mirror turn signals in and I just ordered some Hoen xenonmatched fog lights! The stock fogs are kinda yellow and look tacky (imo) with the HIDs, the Hoen fogs will pretty much match the HIDs now - in color. Yay!

And on Monday i'm going to make an appointment to get my windows tinted. Then over the winter I'll be saving up for coilovers and getting them around spring time. yay for me!

The car in that link looks horrible.

Get some swaybars and tires, Damion, and freak out the SCCA people.

He is doing awesome in GS already, if he drops it it'll change his class to something else and change his pax for the worse.....I'd leave that bad boy stock...

Yeah, but, I don't really care about PAX. It's cool to look at, but it makes no difference to me. Same with being in my class, I don't care if I'm there or not because I'm the only one in my class. I just want to drive and get reasonably good times. I'm not going to go to nationals, or compete anywhere else in the country. So it doesn't matter to me. The only thing that matters is that I get to drive! heh.

I'm going to lower my car regardless of autocross class/pax/etc. It is disgustingly to high.

Yeah, the car is an auto-x beast 5-10 days a year, you have to be happy with it the rest of the year too.

I lowered my car for asthetics, too. The PAX came along with it unfortunately.

Yeah, I wonder how much my PAX will change when I lower it. I think the PAX for my car is really good right now.

Not sure off the top of my head what coilovers do. But lowering springs would put you in and ST class, as would a rear swaybar. If you're doing race tires and suspension mods, you'd be in a Street Prepared class at least.

Kinda stinks, because stock with a front swaybar and race tires, you'd be a beast in your stock class still.

yeah, well for the rest of this season I'll be G Stock. I'll be doing most of my performance mods over the winter. I made an appointment today to get my windows tinted, those will be done next Tuesday, and then with my next pay check I'm going to order the Euro-spec R32 tail lights.

I was going to say how horrible those wheels were on the Vortex until I saw Mini's wheels and realized they must be stock, so I bit my tongue.

The rear end looks like a frowny face.

Go for the nuts, kids aren't necesary!

The car's hella sweet--is it a one-shot or are they going to do a limited production? If they're making it, any idea on cost. Have to weight this against the '07 ZO6.

the wheels on the w12 are slightly different. same style, but still different. and they look like ass that big. haha.

but the ones on my car are the 18" Huffweisen, stock on 08s comes with a 17" version that isn't the same finish called the Denvers.

At first I didn't like the Huffs, but once I saw them in person I did. Plus, they came with the better tires, so that's another reason why I got them.

I think the W12 is hideous. the engine and what it can do are great, but I'm not into the looks. but I'm usually more laid back and simple in my tastes.

I haven't heard if they are making it or not. But I would assume not. I think it's just a "look what we can do" type of car. even if they did make some they would be extremely over priced and very hard to get.

The new R32 is arriving in state-side ports.

too bad they're way different than the European version. tsk tsk VW! stop toning down cars when your bring them stateside!
