Exclamation Accessport 2.0 issues

I have read the directions and everything, BUT... I tried to change the map to 93, and it wouldnt take it. Is there anyone out there who can fix this? I did it exactly as it should be done, but says its unable to download the map. HELP!

any time you flash a base map to the ecu, you have to have the green connectors connected.

what he said. base map has to reload the entire ECU. real time map is just an overlay.

yeah, anytime you reflash you have to connect the green connectors and the white one. i went through hell when apv2 first came out. they fixed alot of bugs on it though, apparently when you try to reflash without the connectors now, it doesnt lock you out of the rest of the options.

hope its all working good now.

blue block connector for 02 WRX, white for 03-05, and none for 06+ (or any 2.5 turbo for that matter, they are all DBW)

Yeah the APv2 had a bad bug about locking you out of menu's. A lot of people were sending their ap's in to cobb getting a reset done.. my buddy did that, they sent it back as if it was not installed on his vehicle already, so he had to send it back. took a month almost.. I tried updating the firmware on mine, and then it let me uninstall, and reinstall and it was good after that.. apv2 is far better than the v1, however it needs a lot of improvment.. More live data read outs for one! haha

Got the CEL on and the cruise control blinking...I went to the COBB forum and they said to clean the MAF...I did that...twice, and it still happens. could it be the torco or crappy gas? It won't give me a code either...What gives? Anyone?

that's odd. i never had that problem and i've been running torco forever. and no code shows up? you'll have to have conti hook up the big comp and see what codes are there.
