Default buying from carsdirect.com?

I'm looking into buying a WRX for my wife. Checked the price on www.carsdirect.com and their site quoted $24,462 for a 5spd, premium sound package, spoiler.

Any comments on that price? Good/bad? Any opinions on the Performance Group option? Thanks!

You should get a better deal than that. Going rate for WRXs in the Bay Area is about $300-$700 over invoice. This is less than CarsDirect. Call Santa Cruz or Carlsen Subaru, they should be able to sell you one in that range.

Good Luck,
JP

One more thing. Avoid Stevens Creek at all cost!!! They are JERKS!!! They don't deserve any business.

Get the dealer invoice pricing for the car you want and accessories. Pay as above over invoice. Some here paid $300 over invoice, others a little more. Go in with the dealer invoice and tell them what you'll pay. If no deal, walk. You WILL get the price you want.

picked up mine from albany sub/ford (nice roush mustang in the showroom... ). paid 23k with no options. kelly's blue books listed 22k invoice, plus 500 destination charge...

ask for marcelo. no pressure to buy right then and there, unlike the sales droids from stevens creek.

tell marcelo i want my free oil change for the referral!!!
