Default how to test for boost leaks?

yah so pretty much with my new boost guage im only reading 10psi in my 06 wrx so i think i might have a boost leak somewhere and was wondering how to test for one?

Just do this when it is completely cooled down engine, open up the hood, turn your car on, and put your hand around the turbo and downpipe to feel either air pushing through or excessive heat with the air(then you have a leak), and check the downpipe to muffler. (doubt you will lose much there)

For boost leaks, you'll want to fab up a homemade tester...

worst advice ever... just make a tester like mentioned above to see if you have a leak.

jflex99 i think you were trying to give him advice on what to do for an exhaust leak? maybe?

I am going to boost leak test mine soon.
