Default Debadge

For anyone that has debagged their car, I was wondering what you guys used to get the sticky residue off of the paint? I was thinking about using goo gone but I’m not sure if that will be good for the paint. Thank you for your help.

Bug and Tar remover.

Turtle wax makes a clear coat safe one.

Just glob it on..Let it sit..Rub with microfiber and keep repeating.

It takes a while but the outcome is great.

Goo Gone is awesome, just do what I did and spray it down with some soap and water after you use it and wipe dry. Or give your a bath!

.....personally, I just used my fingers and a hair dryer to roll it off. I'm sure a paint-safe solvent is a faster alternative though.

This is an awsome video of how to debadge a suby. I followed it exactly and had no problems. It was very safe and easy. Just be careful you don't burn your fingers rubbing the glue off.

I just kinda rubbed it off, most of mine came off with the lettering. The just used a detail spary followed by a wax to get all the minor stuff off.
