I'm down. I know my set up should be able to handle it.

I usually go through Del Puerto Canyon and take the road to San Jose instead of Livermore. I heard there's a really crazy one heading towards Vegas. My co-worker just came from it a day ago.

I just came back from vegas and there are probably 100 different good areas after bakersfield out in the desert. I found one on old highway 58 in barstow. Felt like doing a canyon run in arizona. Desert style.

How are those routes in term of how many people you see on there. I love it when people rarely take the route.

Avoid weekends for the Castro Valley route. Suicidal motorcyclists and many patrol cars.

Mount Hamilton was deserted the last time I was there during daytime. But it was winter. Difficulty is not super hard but there are no guard rails or trees to catch you on the highest and the twistiest sections.
