HELP,no high's on edm sti lights
Recently installed EDM sti non hid lights, i got a 9007 harness for my lows, and a 9005 for my highs, but every combination i use to hook up the highs isnt getting me anywhere. the best i got was to get both highs and lows on at the same time by sharing the center hot pin. obviously had to disconnect that. Help!

Ok, my guess is that the bug-eye factory set-up is a single bulb (e.g. 9004) for the low/high beam?
I converted my Focus from a similar set-up to a non-HID separate low/high system (ST-170) that also has a separate blinker and city-light.
I traced out, using a circuit tester, the low-beam power feed, the high-beam power lead and the ground wire on the car side. You may have to do this with one of the original headlamps plugged in, if you are still able. If I unplugged the headlamp I could not effectively test the wires to find out what was hot and what was not.
I then used an ohm meter to (as well as for visually confirming) the flow upon each lamp in the new headlamp capsule. I also had directions, but wanted to verify this for myself.
Owning a 2006 Impreza where I have a separate low and high beam, when they are switched to high, both bulbs are illuminated. This may be the same even in a single dual-filament bulb (e.g. 9004) headlamp. Again, I'm assuming the bug-eye is this way.
In your case, since Subaru uses a switched ground system, the center pin would be hot as you indicated. It's the grounds that are switched and thus would allow for low-beam and high-beam use. You hook the hot wire to each hot lead for each bulb. You then need to isolate which ground wire on the car (harness) side is for the low-beam and which wire is for the high-beam.
