Default Enginuity?

Hey guys, i had a local sti owner asking me if i wanted him to flash me stage 1 on an enginuity open map.. im really not too sure what this means, im very new to subaru, i know the cobb accessport is amazing and the mod of choice for most soobie owners, but right now i cant really afford that so i was considering this guys offer, but can anyone link me to info on this open map tune? what kind of power gains i will expect, is it reversible? long term effects?

I really just need more info on it

Enguinity is the name of an open source tuning program, not really a name of a stage map, nor a program that allows you to reflash your ECU.

There are a few free stage 1 reflashes. The tool to actually flash is called Ecuflash. You can find more information at www.openecu.org or www.enguinity.org or try googling those terms.

what mods do you have on your car?
how much is he charging?
any warranty?
does he know what he is doing?
would be a terrible mistake if he doesn't.
$$ for the flash + $$$$$$ for replacement engine..
but its your car..

For more info log on to: www.enginuity.org

If you want to have someone reflash your car, make sure he does it right.

Yes, the flashing process is reversible but the blew engine is not.....
