first things first, what kind of driving do you plan on doing with it and how much power are you trying to make?
because you can build a motor for less than buying a longblock

Well i want a motor capable of pushing 450 horsepower safely i understand i cant do that on a stock turbo or transmission but i will be upgrading that later on. I havent opened up my block yet but im certain its crank bearings so im pretty sure im going to need at least a new short block. I dont think i can push that much power out of a 2.5 short block with stock heads but i just saw some stage 3 heads from cosworth and am considering those now. does anybody else make heads?
