Default My New Year Setup

So as of 1/1/02 my car has been successfully boosted.

I am now running:

-Garrett T3/T4
-Top-Mount Intercooler
-Greddy Type-S BOV
-Tial Wastegate
-Greddy Intake
-EGT, Boost, Oil Press Autometer Phantom Gauges.

Not too far around the corner:

-Walbro Fuel Pump
-RC 440 injectors
-Electromotive Tec-II

I also got my windows tinted at 15%. My car is totally stealth now. I wonder if I should change her name from Susy to Kit.....?

Nate

Since my car is a 2001 i am limited to 3 psi. Until I get the Tec-II that is.

I have the injectors and feul pump in the garage but i cant put them in until i get some fuel management......

So I need to wait until I save up enough to get the Tec-II.....

Oh well I am happy at 3 psi. And I wont get any detenation if I am careful at this boost level.....

Does it run okay without an RRFPR and voltage clamp? I know you mentioned running at 3psi max, but does your wastegate spring reliably limit to that, or are you getting a fuel cut occasionally? Or perhaps, since it's so newly installed, you haven't taken any WOT runs yet? (Probably a good idea until things are shaken down a bit)

Congratulations. Be safe.

Nate- No J&S or anything like that? Are you running with a RRFPR?

I like the sound your set up, but am wondering if you lack the effectiveness to get fuel into your cylinders. But since your only running at 3 psi, I guess its not too big of a deal. Oh, and how do you like the sound of the GReddy Type-S BOV? I was thinking of getting this for my car, but i've never heard one.

I would just get a voltage clamp and run a full 5 psi. The proECM powerchip has a voltagte clamp built in and is only $249.95, while functioning much like the IWTU torque chip II

-Gauges i got from Summit. They're Autometer Phantoms.

-Greddy Type-S sounds really good, still needs some adjustment though.

Other than that I notice a big difference at 3 psi.....
