Unhappy Bridgstone RE92

Everyone complains about the stock tires that Subaru uses, the RE92.

Is everyone here going to replace them, is it all just talk? What is actually wrong with them? I had them on my Honda, they sucked in the wet but other than that they were not too bad.

Comments, anyone?

They give up long before the suspension does. That's what's wrong with them. On a lesser car I'm sure they're great tires. But for the Impreza they just aren't up to par.

They really aren't up to par with the rest of the car, niether are the wheels. I can't imagine why they couldn't just give us the uk/aus 17" rims and save me a bundle. As for changing the tires, due to fund problems, it looks like i'm going to DESTROY the RE92s this summer, plop some winter tires on the 16" wheels, then come spring, get some 17" Superleggeras with Bridgestone RE731

That is funny...

"I want to trade these RE92s in, give me these better tires please."

i find that the stock tires work really good in the summer or even when there isn't any snow. but in the winter they suck. no grip at all. i'm changing my tires next winter for some good all seasons.
